BEFORE YOUR VISIT

  • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning on the treatment area for 1–2 weeks before treatment.

  • Do not apply lotions, oils, or makeup on the treatment area on the day of your appointment.

  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, or irritating skincare products on the treatment area for several days prior to treatment.

  • Inform your provider of any medications, skin sensitivities, or recent skin treatments.

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

  • Mild redness or slight swelling may occur and typically resolves within a short period.

  • Avoid sun exposure and apply broad-spectrum SPF daily to protect the treated area.

  • Avoid picking, scratching, or irritating the treated area while it heals.

  • Avoid excessive heat, hot tubs, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
