Laser Hair Treatment
Laser hair removal is a safe, non-invasive procedure that uses advanced laser technology to deliver focused light energy directly to the pigment (melanin) within the hair follicle. This targeted energy selectively damages the follicle while preserving the surrounding skin, resulting in long-term hair reduction.
By disrupting the hair growth cycle, laser hair removal slows future hair production and, over time, significantly reduces unwanted hair regrowth. With a series of properly spaced treatment sessions, many clients achieve long-term hair reduction, making it an effective and convenient alternative to shaving, waxing, or depilatory creams.
At PAR Laser, we use the GentleMax Pro a gold standard laser system recognized worldwide for its safety, versatility, and highly effective results. This advanced technology is designed to treat all skin types and allows us to customize treatments based on each client’s individual skin tone and hair type.

BENEFITS OF LASER HAIR TREATMENT
LASER HAIR TREATMENT
BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including self-tanners) for at least 4 weeks before treatment.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, tweeze, or thread the hair for at least 3–4 weeks prior, as the laser targets the hair root.
Avoid retinoids, or strong exfoliants on the treatment area for 5–7 days before treatment.
Arrive with clean skin free of lotions, oils, deodorant, or makeup on the treatment area.
No laser treatment if you are on antibiotics. You need to be off antibiotics 10 days from your last dose to safely treat you.
No LASER if you are pregnant or breast-feeding
Inform your provider if you are taking any new medications, especially antibiotics or medications that increase light sensitivity.
If you have a history of cold sores and are treating the lip area, please notify us before your appointment.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
After laser hair removal, the treated area may feel slightly warm or appear mildly red. These reactions are normal and typically resolve within a few hours.
Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF 50+ daily on treated areas.
Do not use hot tubs, saunas, or hot showers for 24–48 hours after treatment.
Avoid intense workouts for 24 hours to prevent irritation.
Do not wax, tweeze, or thread between treatments. Shaving is allowed if needed.
Avoid harsh skincare products, exfoliants, or retinoids on the treated area for 3–5 days.
You may notice hair shedding within 7–14 days after treatment — this is a normal part of the process.
Keep the skin hydrated and moisturized with gentle skincare products.
