Pre & Post Instructions For Laser Hair Removal

Thank you for scheduling your laser hair removal treatment with PAR Laser. For your safety and in order to obtain optimum results, the instructions below must be followed diligently.

• No waxing, tweezing, coloring, or depilatories on the treatment area during the entire course of your treatments. Shaving or clipping is permitted as often as desired.

• Shave the treatment area one day before your scheduled treatment unless instructed otherwise. If you cannot shave, PAR Laser will shave the area for you at an additional $50.00 charge.

• Do not use the following products on the treated areas three (3) days before and three (3) days after treatment: exfoliating cleanser and any exfoliation products, bleaching creams, or retinoids (Retin-A).

• Do not apply any creams, lotions, oils, makeup, or deodorant on the area to be treated prior to treatment.

• Do not expose the treated area to direct sunlight or tanning beds for four (4) weeks prior to treatment and four (4) weeks after treatment. It is highly recommended that you avoid sun exposure during the course of treatments.

• Sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher is essential during the course of treatments.

• When washing, do not use hot water on freshly treated areas until redness or sensitivity has subsided.

• The hairs that are destroyed from the treatment will gradually work themselves out. This process can take up to 3–4 weeks. Do not pick, rub, or scratch the treated areas.

• Although rare, blistering may occur. You must contact the clinic to arrange for an evaluation if this happens.

• If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact the clinic at least 48 hours in advance.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the service fee.

• No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

• This policy is in place due to the high demand for treatment appointments.
