FAQ
Laser Hair Removal
Is Your Laser Safe For All Skin Types?
Yes! We have both YAG and ALEX, which is safe for all skin types.
What Machine do you use?
Candela Gentalmax Pro
How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?
The procedure works by slowing the growth capacity of hair follicles that are in the active growth cycle at the time of treatment. The laser targets the darkness / melanin pigment in the hair follicle in order to reach and destroy the root bulb of the hair.
Since the hair follicle is connected to the root bulb only during the growth phase of the hair, the laser must target the hair follicle during this cycle.
Since hair will enter the growth cycle at different times, several treatments are necessary to disable most of the follicles in a particular area.
How Many Laser Hair Removal Treatments Will I Need?
Results are unique to each individual. Typically, 6-12 treatments are recommended, but it may be more or less.
Are There Any Side-Effects from the Laser Hair Removal Treatments?
There is no recovery or down time. Client can return to their normal activities immediately. After the treatment you may experience a slight reddening of the skin similar to a sunburn that will resolve within a few hours to days.
Are Laser Hair Removal Treatments Painful?
Our lasers use a special cooling system that lowers the temperature of the skin at the treatment site before, during, and after laser exposure.
Therefore, the treatment is generally not painful and is well tolerated. Some clients describe the treatment as a sensation like the snap of a rubber band.
Are Laser Hair Removal Results Permanent?
Studies have shown that many clients can achieve hair reduction of up to 85-90% and remaining hair returns lighter and softer.
Does My Hair Need to Be “Grown Out” Before the Treatment?
No. We actually recommend that you shave the area to be treated. Waxing, bleaching, tweezing, threading or any other method that removes the root of the hair must be discontinued at least three weeks prior to treatment. Since the laser targets the root of the hair, it must be present for the treatment to be effective.
How Long Will the Procedure Take?
It varies from client to client.
How long should I wait to make my next laser appointment?
Generally, it is best to wait four-to-six weeks between treatments. There is no advantage to scheduling your visits closer together even if you do not see immediate results. The laser only targets hair in the growth phase. The next growth phase is generally in four-to-six weeks.

FAQ
Plasma Fibroblast
What is Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening?
Experience plasma Fibroblast Therapy that is an alternative to invasive surgical cosmetic procedures with minimal recovery time, without the potential complications of before and after surgery and at a more affordable cost!!!!
Plasma Pen is the most advanced, non-invasive skin tightening and rejuvenation device. The Plasma Pen can be used in a number of treatments to help you get a brighter, more contoured, and more youthful appearance.
How does it work?
Plasma-Fibroblast treatment uses a small electric arch which is transmitted through a small probe. The probe itself doesn't go into the skin or even touch the skin.
Tissues treated “coagulate” & “sublimate” and we avoid spreading unwanted heat to the surrounding areas. The principle is to ionize gases in the air to create a small electrical arch, similar to a tiny lightning bolt, with which epidermal areas, which are affected by aesthetic problems, may be treated without spreading unwanted heat to the surrounding areas.
The arc causes superficial damage to the upper dermal layer of skin and transmits heat to the lower levels of the skin. This causes the new skin to generate collagen and elastin fibers that can fade as we age.
How long does the treatment take?
First, the topical anaesthetic (cream) is applied, minimizing the risk of pain and numbing the treated area. The anaesthetic takes effect 20 minutes after the application. The procedure itself does not last long, 20–30 minutes depending on the area. The duration of the treatment (with anaesthetic application): 60–90 minutes.
Is any special pre-treatment needed?
There is no special pretreatment needed. It is advisable that you do not apply any cosmetic products on the treated area (especially those containing alcohol). During the consultation, you should mention all recent surgical or aesthetic procedures.
Is the procedure painful?
Plasma-Fibroblast is a NON-invasive procedure with a minimum level of pain. It is virtually painless, as the treated area is numbed before the treatment. After the treatment, the treated area might be slightly reddish and some clients may experience some swelling (only for areas around the eyes). At the site of each spot, a small crust will form. They should not be touched and you should wait for 4–5 days for them to fall off naturally. During the procedure, the clients may feel some discomfort, not actual pain, depending on the treated area of the face/body.
Is Plasma-Fibroblast treatment right for me?
With the help of Plasma-Fibroblast instrument it is possible to treat various skin problems (acne), achieve the “lifting effect” of the loose skin or correct or remove scars …
If you suffer from any of the above mentioned and do not want to go through a traditional surgical procedure, Plasma-Fibroblast is the right solution for you.
Which are the most common treated areas?
Upper eyelids
Lower eyelids
Neck tightening
Mid-face lifting
Wrinkles
Worry lines
Crow's feet
Smile lines
Labial lines
Belly skin reduction
Removal of age & sun spots (usually not on face)
It can be performed on any loose/saggy skin area
Is Plasma-Fibroblast treatment safe?
The treatment is very safe, as it is a non-surgical procedure. It has a negligible amount of possible side effects and serious complications alike. The procedure is based on the natural stimulation of skin regeneration, so the excesses which may be seen in the world of traditional surgery are not possible.
The Plasma-Fibroblast treatment takes a very short time, with stress on the aftercare, as, in case the client neglects the instructions for aftercare, the treated area may suffer from inflammation, hyper-pigmentation, scarring.
Are there any possible side effects of Plasma-Fibroblast?
The Plasma-Fibroblast treatment is an exceptionally safe procedure with virtually no side effects or they occur very rarely. Possible side effects are inflammation, scarring or minor change in skin pigmentation, which is very rare. It is highly important for each client to follow the instructions for aftercare closely. Crusts which occur after the treatment are part of the treatment and will fall off after 4–5 days. Minor swelling after treating the area around the eyes is normal and will disappear after 3–5 days, depending on the client’s sensitivity.
Do you treat moles?
We do NOT treat MOLES or birthmarks
May I use makeup after the Plasma-Fibroblast treatment?
Do not use makeup after the treatment, as it generally is not sterile. First 5–6 days after the treatment, until the crusts fall off, use the antiseptic product and the aftercare cream, applying it softly to the treated area. When the crusts fall off, you may apply some makeup if necessary.
Are the results visible immediately after the treatment?
The results are visible immediately after the treatment, but we have to inform the client that the maximum results will be visible after 3–4 weeks when the skin enters the third phase of the healing – collagen and connective tissue growth. So, results are visible immediately, but the end results follow after 3–4 weeks after the treatment.
How many treatments are required for a perfect result?
Usually Fibroblast is 2 sessions of treatment. It depends on the state of the clients’ skin and the desired degree of correction. The client is often satisfied after only one treatment, of course if, e.g. the wrinkles are not very deep, but due to the simplicity of the procedure and the affordable price the clients opt for two or even three treatments to achieve a perfect result. The procedure may be repeated after the skin is fully regenerated. Generally 2 sessions are required.
How long will the effect of the Plasma-Fibroblast treatment last?
The results of the Plasma-Fibroblast treatment are permanent and may be visible for years. But we should acknowledge that the aging process is continuous and thus the skin ages every day after the procedure and this cannot be stopped. The results of this method are permanent, but when we talk about mimic facial lines (worry lines) these may recur quickly because muscles are stronger than the skin and consequently the lines recur. Average results last from 2-4 years.
WHAT DOES A PLASMA PEN DO?
The plasma pen works by converting electrical energy into electrostatic energy which is transmitted to the probe by impulse. At about 1mm from the skin, oxygen and nitrogen are mixed to produce an arc of plasma which discharges onto the epidermis. There is an immediate contraction of the skin tissue and also thermal disruption within the dermis. This stimulates collagen production for the next few months, and also activates and releases important proteins in the dermis.
WHO IS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE?
If you want to correct the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and scars without the need for a single cut or stitch this is the perfect solution. Darker skin types may not be good candidates for plasma fibroblast treatment.
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Our skillful medical professionals apply a medical grade numbing cream to help with any discomfort.
HOW LONG DOES THE FIBROBLAST PLASMA TREATMENT TAKE?
The treatment usually takes about 30-60 minutes depending on the treatment area.
WHEN WILL I START SEEING RESULTS?
Some immediate tightening of the treatment area will be noticed after treatment. The most dramatic improvements and results are seen over a 3 month period.
HOW MANY PLASMA FIBROBLAST TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
This will depend on the severity of the desired treatment area but most of the time we recommend two treatments.
HOW LONG DOES THE RESULT LAST?
The treatment result usually lasts about 2-3 years.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL FROM PLASMA PEN? WILL I NEED TIME TO RECOVER?
Depending on your comfort level, working situation, and lifestyle, you can resume your normal work immediately. However, the tiny plasma flash causes ‘crusts’ to form on the skin giving the distinctive dotting effect. You can also experience significant swelling in the area treated, particularly in the eye area. Swelling is often seen the day after treatment and peaks at days 2-3. After day 3, the swelling subsides and ‘crusts’ or scabs will start forming. These scabs will typically fall or flake off after 1 week.

FAQ
Dermaplaning
What’s dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a skin treatment that uses an exfoliating blade to skim dead skin cells and hair from your face. It’s also called microplaning or blading.
Dermaplaning aims to make your skin’s surface smooth, youthful, and radiant. This treatment claims to remove deep scarring from acne and uneven pockmarks on your skin. It’s also used to remove “peach fuzz,” the short, soft hairs on your face.
Dermaplaning can be used for any skin type and anyone with:
- acne scars
- dull skin
- dry skin
- sun-damaged skin
- fine wrinkles
If you look at the tool used for dermaplaning treatments, you may notice it looks like a razor you would use on your body hair.
The basic concept of dermaplaning is the same as shaving. By aiming a sterile blade at a 45-degree angle and dragging it slowly across your skin, you remove dead cells, scar tissue, and other debris that may be making your skin’s surface look uneven.
Your skin is exposed daily to harsh environmental toxins, irritants, and sun damage. This can cause the top layer of your skin to appear dull, and it can make you look aged. Dermaplaning clears away those damaged skin cells so newer skin cells are what you see when you look in the mirror.
Risks and side effects
Dermaplaning is a low-risk procedure. Side effects may include slight redness in your face in the hours after getting the treatment. Some people develop whiteheads on their skin in the day or two after dermaplaning.
What to expect
You don’t need to plan any downtime to recover from a dermaplaning treatment. You may experience redness or feel like your skin is scraped in the two or three days right after the procedure.
You may notice that your skin looks brighter immediately after you’re finished with a dermaplaning treatment, but it often takes a few days to appreciate the full results. As any redness subsides, you’ll be able to see the results more clearly in the days afterward.
WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?
It is a painless procedure and can be compared to the sensation of shaving. The basic concept of dermaplaning is the same as shaving. By aiming a sterile blade at a 45-degree angle and dragging it slowly across your skin, you remove dead cells, scar tissue, and other debris that may be making your skin’s surface look uneven.
